    Bergmann MP35/I markings

    Hello,
I need advice about Bergmann MP35/I SMG. Usually it has either Bergmann-Walther or MP35/I ajf with manufacture date on the left side of rear receiver end.
But recently I have encountered a gun without any markings. What can it be?

    Thanks in advance.

    Here is a picture.
The finish seems original but the gun lacks any markings beside AN deactivation mark.
Can it be a Danish production?

There is a verion with what looks like the numeric pie sign symbol, which represents the Junker & Ruh manufacturer. Better pics of the rear receiver area may reveal it.

I believe this "crown above AN" to be a French de-activation mark. It can be found on many deacts coming from France.

          Hello Heinz

If it bears the four digit serial number on the right side of the receiver, it might be out of a swiss production...

AN means " arme neutralisee " neutralized firearm, and the crown stands for " St Etienne", the place where its done.

I will make more pics when I receive it. I have read that MP35/I were produced in Denmark by Shulz & Larsen and in Sweden (under name Kulsprutepistol M39). Though, I have only seen Walther and Junker & Ruh guns.
But I have never heard about Swiss production. Can you give more info.

I had read that Sweden bought 1800 submachine guns from Germany (the Kp M39), but I don't knew that they were even produced.

That's not my idea. I have read about it in Iannamico's book.
