This rifle came out of the blue on Saturday, a guy told my cousin that he had a German K98 rifle that he wanted to sell, once I saw the rifle and determined it was all matching and was a Kriegsmarine issue I bought it.All comments are welcome and if anyone has any idea on the value please let me know.

numbered bands would be correct.

The bands seem to have been on there along time they have the same wear as the rest of the rifle,and the wood forearm matches the stock.I think that the bands are original to the rifle or were replaced war time.
Thanks for all the comments I"m really happy with it the bore is perfect and the bluing is about 95% the stock has a few dings but not too bad.Comment
