Mini ruger 14 Stock only....

Hi guys, I need your opinions to make a purchase of a factory made stock to a mini ruger 14... I live in Sweden and the most auctions I have lookt for and find the stock I am after, the seller lives in the states and will not sell or even send the stock to my country.... My question are: if I find a friend in the states, he can buy the stock for me and send it to me in Sweden without any problems?
Opinions needed please...

From the US side, you are fine. A stock is not serialized or controlled in any way.

Whether Sweden will let it in, I can't tell you.

Hi and tnx for the fast answer, I had have my dobts thats its all right to make the purchase from the states....Only problem are to find a good friend that could make the buy for me.... In sweden there will be no problems to send a stock.....

So are you sure that there're no problems, no matter where you live in the USA, to buy a stock, and send it on outside the country? I live in New York City and I'm willing to help my friend, but I don't collect or own firearms, and I don't know the laws. All I know is that the gun laws are quite strict in New York City itself.

I would greatly appreciate some more input from my fellow collectors about the legality of this.

I used to have one laying around here somewhere...let me go through the closet and see if I can find it. If so, and you want to pay for it and having it shipped BEFORE I ship it, I will send it to you. I just don't want any liability if it's seized in transport. I can provide tracking info and confirmation and insurance but once it leaves here it would be out of my hands.

Found it...exactly where I left it!
It has the plastic buttplate. No cracks gouges scratches etc...
