Looking at the size and shape of it yes.
As for the markings there different than mine.
Could be a post war mag ?

It is not MP38-40 to my understanding. The shape looks alike but the maker stamps and the line at the back are not MP 40. It also lacks WaA and the little hole and the '32' at the back. Closing piece at the bottom should have a little spring to retain it at the back. I know Belgian Vigneron MP mags are quite close to MP40's but then it would be ribbed, and this one isn't. I can't say for what weapon it is but not for MP40.
