I would like to understand the difference and significance of the three different types of firing pins for the MP 43/44 series of weapons.
The three firing pins on the left are 3 side-fluted, while the forth from the left is 4 side-fluted and the last one on the far right is 3 side-flat.
The reason I am asking this is that I would like to keep the one most appropriate firing pin for the spare parts bag of a late war Mp44 pouch and '45 dated Stg44.
The other four firing pins will be for sale as well as one of the extractors, extractor pin and extractor spring.
I also have no real idea of the current market value of the firing pins and extractor assembly....so any help here will be much appreciated.
I only want to pass these items along at a fair and reasonable price to anyone who is in need.
Thanking all in advance you for your time and value added input.
Sincerely,
Vilja
