    P08 tool, help needed

    Hi
    is that tool WW1 or WW2 ? or post-war
    who is this maker's stamp ?

    The tools were not maker marked, but carried the same inspection/acceptance mark as the pistol they were issued with. DWM did not strictly adhere to the directive on marking the pistols and their accessories, so it is likely that most of the unmarked WWI era tools are DWM.
    The general shape of your loading tool is like the WWI era tools, and I believe the marking on the face of the tool is just something random applied in later years. The number on the back points to it being with a post WWI police rig.
    The tool on the left is a WWI Crown/D, and the other is a WWII Eagle/135.

      Didier - agree with Johnny. Don't know what that marking is, but it's not German WWI/II vintage. Could be a foreign country's marking, or some other odd marking of which we don't know the origin of.
