It was broken during a firefight at Wingen and recovered with the other weapons mentioned shortly afterwards. Ed

Alan, I own a couple and the others will be offered at public auction in the near future ...Once I determine the venue and have permission to share them I will post photos of the collection along with the historical details...I can say that these are the best documented battlefield acquired weapons (that can be placed in a specific battle, unit, firefight(s) and even a fighting position) I've seen in 40 years.
