    Is this a WW2 rifle?

    Hi,

I get from my family this rifle.
As it had been time ago from my grandfather I think it maybe from the WW2.
    Does somebody know it?

    Thanks

    Andre

That is a Portuguese M.1904/39 Mauser Vergueiro. Those are very good accurate shooters. Yours looks like it needs a date with the electrolysis tank. Don't try to take the boat apart unless your good with puzzles, some people have had so difficulty getting them back together. I found it to be no sweat.

Could it not be a Spanish Coruña mod 1943?

For bad luck there's mich rust at the left sight where the bullets can be inserted is the marking.
But it seems that Airforce1 is right as it ends with:
            ................. 6,? Mod. 190? (4 maybe possible)
