BYF 42 with wood grips

is it unusual to have grips stamped with pistol last two digit numbers but switched around, pistol number 71 matched on all parts and then grips stamped 17 on one grip and 359 waffen stamp on other, sound ok?

E/359 is the Walther acceptance stamp, I have never seen this on Mauser Luger grips.......E/655 or E/135 would be common.

Also, just a coincidence that the other grip had the reverse of your pistol's serial number. Not original.

looking again the waffen is 135 but the wood grip stamp has the numbers switch 17 instead of 71
