    E/359 is the Walther acceptance stamp, I have never seen this on Mauser Luger grips.......E/655 or E/135 would be common.

      Also, just a coincidence that the other grip had the reverse of your pistol's serial number. Not original.

        looking again the waffen is 135 but the wood grip stamp has the numbers switch 17 instead of 71
