    hello,

    My knowledge on firearms are about zero, my friend met a veteran who has 2 pistols, can someone tell what they are, and what value to offer.

          The veteran told him he took them off dead ss officers but thats what they all say, even the cooks in the army say it!

            Dazar, The first pistol (or top photo) is a Mauser HSc. The second is a CZ27. Value is tough to determine with these photos. Value is determined on finish (original or reblue); Waffenamt (acceptance stamp) or lack thereof, matching or mismatched numbers, and import stamped or not. In my neck of the woods, a nice HSc, all-matching, original finish, and no import stamps would fetch anywhere from $450.00 to $650.00. A CZ27 in the same condition would be around $275.00 to $400.00. Mismatched or reblued pieces sell for much less. Add an original holster and extra magazine and the price goes up. Again, this depends on what type of holster, maker, color and waffenamt. Hope this helps.

              Dazar,

              I have a question to you: the brown holster belong to the Mauser pistol? There was a discussion about these shoulder holsters a while ago in the forum.

              Concerning the pistols, Mike already identified them correctly. However, it seems that the Mauser does not have a magazine and the CZ´s plastic grips seem to be broken, since they are tied with a Scotch tape or something... but their finish looks pretty good.

                  Just some other info, that I noticed from your pics.
                  The P27s holster is a 1941 dated example. However, it has been dyed black. It appears as though the belt loop was replaced, as it is brown. (perhaps post war repair?). This would certianly lower the value of this holster.

                  The Mauser HSc looks good, but need to know what serial number it is, and what proof marking it has? ("eagle/N", "eagle/135", "eagle/WaA135", "eagle/L".. and so on) This could make a tremedous difference in price!

                  The shoulder holster appears to be for a luger. (just judging by the shape of the outline of the pistol that was installed in it.) Shoulder holsters like this are a sourse of great controversy with collectors. Since I have never seen an original wartime photo of a German carrying a shoulder holster, I tend to stay away from them. They are worth nothing to me.
                  Other collectors view them as rareties, and will pay top dollar for them! So, you have to decide what its' worth to you.
