    I think it is a tool for a gun but I am not sure.

    I think it's fo the Mosin Nagant.

      it is indeed very similar to the Mosin Nagant Screwdriver but it has a odd shape and it should have 3 cut-outs instead of 1. The cut out was used to see if the firing pin is set to the correct protrusion. Might be a very early version.
