MG13 help please!

Can anyone tell me if this is a carying handle for the MG13? What would be a fair price to pay for this? Thanks very much!

Hi Joe, I have checked a few pics I have of the MG13 and the handle is not the same as the one you show. I am not aware if there was more than one pattern used?

Thanks very much Ade. My friend bought this as a handle for the MG34 but it obviously was not, so he was told it was for '13. It's now a mystery! Thanks again,

This is a post war MG34 handle designed to fit on the lower ring, I used to own one.

They show up on ebay from time to time.

hi joe the mg hadle you wish to know about .this was used by israel on the mg 34 .post war john.

That one was made for post war MG34, as mentioned, but seems something has been welded to it. Can you show a pic of that thing protruding half way of the rail?

As noted below the handle pictured was made by the Israeli's for use with the MG34s and the tapered, dovetailed pin is removed for installation and then put back and staked inlace to retain and locate the handle.
It is not and never was used on the Mg13 which has a completely different carry handle.
