    Why are you being such a prick? I simply started this thread out of the peculiarity of finding a bolt with the same last three digits of a rifle that I had. I'm not going to sell the rifle and if I ever did I would probably put the original bolt in it.

    Do me a favor and don't reply to my threads. You have left nothing but sarcastic remarks smearing the original intent of the point I was trying to share.

      Given that the bolt number was made to match the last three digits of the rifle's serial number, and the rifle serial number had five digits in this case, "000" should be a valid bolt number (i.e., bolts that go with rifles with serial numbers of x0000, x1000, x2000 . . . x9000). I don't own one of these, this is why I was only assuming that this was the case.

      What would be the alternative?
