My Uncle (God bless him!) a WWII vet who served in Europe for 3 years found out about my recent collecting interests and has been sending me little care packages as he finds items of interest...he sent me this pistol yesterday and I know nothing about it....can anyone more knowledgeable than I be of assistance?

Known as parlor pistols, these fire 22 caliber CB or BB caps. They were very popular around the turn of the century for target plinking in the garden or even in the house. The reduced load on the CB or BB cap made them not too loud for inside use.
They are common and of little value, other than decorators. Those with extremely long barrels are more desireable.

Mr. Hritz, thanks for taking the time to respond! Forgive my ignorance...but what is a .22 caliber "CB" is it just a .22 caliber bullet...or is it something more specific?
Again, thanks!!

CB and BB caps are 22 caliber bullets, they just have a bare minimum of powder, very weak 22 cal ammo. You can shoot them in a 22 long or long rifle marked gun but don't try shooting any LR ammo in a gun only rated for CB or BB caps. If in doubt inquire with your local gunshop/gunsmith and he'll show you the difference.
