Yes you're right but I've been told that the maker CE
did never produce this rail device.
The rails where only produce by a limited number of factories,
I'm sure that this forum can confirm this point.

Well the Base is good from the Pics but its for sure not Original ZF41 Sniper .
I know Repro Base are made but none have the Correct Steps in them that the Original have . Original Base but Put together by someone post war .Comment

Hi. I do not quite understand this about the makers. An old friend of mine has got this k98 (steel only). In the may days of 1945 he (5 years old) and his older brother went into a german camp, just left by the germans. Here the found a lot of weapons burned by the germans, so they should not fall into the hands of the resistance.Originally posted by softail View Post
