Can you post a close-up of the 'MP44' stamp?

      Fake for me

It looks bad sorry seems an fake the WaA is too blurry, and the letters of the code kur are differents of for example the stamped on mp40 magazines, the magazine itself is brand new.

it looks suspicious given it's level of "mintyness"

It depends on the price. I have mp 40 clips that look better than that brought home by the vet. Im not sure its a fake. But even a fake will run you a decent chunk now days. I say buy it if it isn't expensive. A lot of people wont say what prices are, like it would matter whenever you resold it if you ever did anyway. It doesnt matter what someone pays for something, it's what they want when they resell , but some people . I think the blurryness might be because the photo is out of focus.

I hope my mag is less questionable. As far as I see, the markings are different. Different style of the MP44 and different style of WaffenAmt as well. And my magazine itself does not seem like it had ever been so smooth and glossy.
But we need to see more of kur MP44 mags to make a conclusion. Maybe mine is fake

OK: The magazine in question is IMO genuine. The gqm floorplate is a postwar mismatch.

Many years ago we had a batch of these weapons come to the good old NZ. I purchased one along with a few other people I knew, and they all had these really new or refurbished mags , I just think they were post war used and redone, my opinion is they are ok. Sorry but since sold weapon.
