mg34 lafette

Hello,
I just picked up a MG34 and am currentally looking for a lafette mount for it, i would want it to be wartime and unmodifiied, i was wondering what the price would be for something like this ?
Also are there any websites that just specify in selling these ? id like it to be in the U.S becuase shipping from europe will not be cheap!
i know that it will be exspensive but i am just wondering what a range would be
Any help will be appreciated

For an original unmessed with lafette, you're probably looking into the $3k-$5k range depending on the seller, condition, and accessories that come with it (ie carrying straps).

There's lafettes out there that are post war reissues and complete restorations that can be anywhere from $1k-$2500.

Prices have gone up dramatically on the 34 Lafettes, I bought mine 5 years ago or so for 1100$, no more at those prices.... MG34.com (allegheny arsenal) had 34 Lafettes for sale here in the US. In the UK I would check with Ryton Arms or track down Damien Horn in the Jersey Islands and see if he has any or knows a source. Also, do a search for "MG34" here on the forum and track down some of our Norwegian members, they seem to have access to a lot of the "good stuff". Chris...

I jumped on mine less than a year ago from Germany, 1939 dated complete with original carry straps! For a cool £1,300 (is that about $2,000 USD). I previously owned a Portuguese contract Lafette which I sold on, looking for a Wehrmacht one instead. It took a very long time to find one!!!! I searched the globe

Hi Kippy,this one seen at Beltring was £1,400, matching date on cradle and fire control unit. I assume that it was a repaint. There were some horrendous prices on some of the rough 42 lafettes for sale there,we're talking over two grand! Regards david.
