I ran across a High Power at a Pawn Shop yesterday and its Nazi marked with about 80% blueing and some light freckling.Clip looks original and bore seems above average. The grips were varnished i talked them down to 425.00 .Is this a good price? Thanks in advance

The "experts" on the TV program don't get it right all the time. In one episode someone brought in an original Colt SAA. The expert came in to look it over and declared it was all matching except the loading gate. The number on the loading gate is not the serial number, but was an assembly number. After the loading gate was fitted to the receiver, the loading gate and bottom of the receiver were stamped with an assembly number to help get them back together after they were finished.
