Unusual Walther PP Marking

Hello everyone,

I have been searching the web for quite a while and am stumped. Check out the marking on the trigger guard just forward of the trigger on this pre-war Walther PP. Has anyone seen this marking before?

I can't even make out what it is? Can you get a closer pic of it?

Unfortunately there are no more pictures available of it. It looks like a Fleur-de-lis mark.

So I take it, this is not your gun then? I'm sorry, but I can't make out what it is with the photo provided.

Just a guess, would be it may be a post war police marking? (Belgium perhaps?)
