ssu 7.65

hi guys and girls my first post on here ,
iv just bought my first hand pistol its a sauser and son
7.65 with aliminium hand grips that look identical to the backerlite standard ones , could any one tell me how i would go about tracing its history , the numbers are intact and it only has 7.65 on it and two very small german eagles

Welcome to the forum!
Pictures always help in order to identify the correct model/variation. From your description I believe it is a Sauer Model 38H.
But I can tell you that it is almost impossible to trace to gun to its original holder based on its serial number.

hi douglas
ill try and get some pics taken , its at my house in bulgaria at the monement im in the uk . but hope to fly out for a few days to have a play at the gun range , shame its not trace able as id of liked to no a bit of its history , thanks
