A few years ago I had a chat with a Flemish Volunteer about the weapons they used during the war.
He was complaining about the sabotaged SKODA MP's.
I showed him some pictures and it was the ZK383 from Brno.
I think the Germans used Skoda for all the weapon factories in the Czech Republic.

I got a reply from the Skoda Museum:
Tank you for your e- mailquestion of the 25 July 2010.It has been forwarded to our ŠKODA HOLDING Archive in Plzeň from the AUTO ŠKODA car factory in Mladá Boleslav, which is since 2002 a part of German VW Concern.Apart from the fact , that the car factory, former since 1925 a part of Škoda Works, uses the traditional Škoda logo“The Winged Arrow in the Circle“, the bth factories are unrelated and the cantral archive is in Plzeň. This is alittle explanation why was the route of your question so complicated.
In the year 1919, shortly after the formation of Czechoslovakia, the Škoda Works have been interested in the deliveries of pistols for for the army, in competition with other Czechoslovak armories, Sˇkoda Works offered to the Ministry of Defence the 7,65 cal. pistol of own design and delivered three pieces for the tests. But in June 1920 informed Škoda Works the Ministry of Defence, that the production of pistols does not record with the traditional arms production of the concern and took off the participation in the competition. One of the three mentioned pistols is now in the Military Museum in Prague, the second one in a privat collection and the fate of the htird pistol is unknown.
The main supplier of the pistols for the Czechoslovak Army become Zbrojovka Brno. This factory continued with the development of new models – since CZ22 till CZ 27 and so on , not only in the main plant in Brno but also in the subsiding factory in Strakonice. For this factory delivered Škoda Works the pistol frames, slides and magazine springs. By you quoted CZ 27 pistol, according the production number were made in Zbrojovka Strakonice (German code fnh) and is not a product of Škoda Works. The person who filled up the form for the German officer made an error in the identification of the origin of the pistol.
The CZ 27 pistols with the special longer barrel were made in Zbrojovka Strakonice for a short time in the last years of German occupation of Czechoslovakia, with the silencers delivered from the German Opel Works.
I hope that you will obtain success in your research.
With the best wishesI'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
