I know that this is a tough one but looking at a group of items, and just trying to get ballpark figures on everything. They eish to sell everything together and I am just trying to see were they are at. So what is the price range for a mod 98 byf 45 , a p-38 byf here are the best pictures so far wil try and get better ones

They are asking 5000 for everything. I am pretty sure I am going to pass on it. As I really do not want the railroad eagle. To be honest the p-38 and the etched dress dagger are what i am most interested in. I however do wish to learn and I just figured doing the leg work on this would be a good education.

price range
Would need a lot more info on the pistol and rifle...are they all matching, are they legit vet bringbacks, not postwar acquisitions that are being "humped" with the rest of the items. All matching K98's in original, unmodified condition can bring big money. Also, would need more info on the BYF P38, what year of manufacture, what markings? Big difference between a standard byf44 and say a byf42 or a police issued P38....
The small items you are referring to is a flashlight (torch) and a "tobacco can" cleaning kit that was issued with the K98's...

I don't have a good feeling about the finish on the K98k.....Looks too good, like perhaps refinished.....The railroad eagle isn't typical which makes me leary w/o better, detailed photos......I think I'd take my $5K somewhere else.....BodesComment
