    Appraisal on Walther PP

    Hi from a new member...
    Could someone give me some direction on where to get a professional appraisel on a Walther pp for insurance purposes? It's a gun I inherited and has been traced back to a notable officer in the Third Reich. Thank you , Rick

    You'll find several knowledgeable folks here for sure. But, you may also want to post on www.p38forum.com. They have a subsection for PP's/PPK's, you'll get some good help there as well. Post pictures, and details for a start. Do you have any provenance to the history of the PP, how it was traced back, capture paperwork, etc? Chris...

      I will try the P38 fourm also. I have some paper work placing the gun back to the war, but mostly it sells it self through markings and serial numbers.Right now in just being caucious about what I say online being very new at this. Rick
