    Help with Japanese Rifle

    Hi Forum,

    I have this nice Japanese rifle I need help with. I would like to know what type it is, and your input. I have been looking for a while, including using forum search function. I can't seem to find a similar one. Maybe I just am not seeing it.

      It is a Type 99 Arisaka that had its stock cut down (presumably for hunting purposes). Might make a fun restoration project if you have the patience!

        Its an earlier type 99 like Col Klink said. Its been sporterized. It would make a nice shooter or a good sporter project. Most likely a Nagoya from the look of the sight.
