hi ,the only info i could find abouth this code was ; Brennabor-Werke AG ,Brandenburg/Havel . associated with the manufacture of ammunition components ,including 20mm cannon and 5cm anti-tank gun shells and fuzes in 1944 . but this is clearly not an ammunition part ,so my guess is that they produced parts from the gun to...

Looks like a 2 Euro coin to me?

well its definately interesting as from the WaA tells us Brennabor-Werke AG ,Brandenburg/Havel made the bigger stuff, i personally have never seen any small arms (rifles or pistols) from this firm. Yet i find it hard to believe that on a large howitzer or anti aircraft gun or whatever that they would serialize every little catch pin or release mechanism which to me is what this appears to be..... i can see the Armaments board acceptance stamp being there, but not the serial # which leads me to believe that this is from a small arms weapon.....very interesting...... i will be watching this thread and hope that someone can finger it out.....

whatever it is.... i like it

thank you very much for your help! 2cm and 5cm relation with the maker code is great! Could it be a part of a gun maintenance kit or another device used to zero in a gun? It seems this piece is used to attach temporarily "something" on another "something"
