Help with guns!!!!

Hey guys i have these two guns im thinking of selling also besides the broomhandle i started another thread on here. My question is does anyone have a book that has any literature on the K Model Colt as far as value? I have been away from from the firearm side of collecting that i have no idea how the economy has affected gun values if any??

What would be decent value on these examples?

unfortunately there is some rust on front site, small area on backstrap, and clip area.

As for prices you may want to look over at Gunbroker.com for past and current auctions. As for the rust, get some BreakFree and #0000 steel wool (that's FOUR zeroes) and apply it to the rusty areas.

Just a small addition to Gene's post. I would recommend using Brass Wool instead of steel wool. It seems to be gentler on the remaining blue while still working on the rust. It is harder to find but worth the effort IMHO.

Hi guy, Book on the "DUKE" is $795 they go for about $900-1100, book on the Huntsman is $1500 they go for about $1400-1600, with the condition of yours I would say $600-900. Hope this helps. Van.......

Yes, these came out in 1983 and were put together with left over frames from the Huntsman production run. They made both Huntsman and Woodsman's mdl. S Master Series about 285 Huntsman's with the straight barrel and the rest were Woodsman's with the tapered barrel, all embellished with the gold and came with the wood presentation case.
