p38 holsters & 44 mag pouch's - they real or fake?

what the haps. if yawl could help me out on some dates & authenticity that would be awesome. i'm trying to find out 3 things - what are the dates of these 2 p38 holsters and are they original. the 3rd thing im trying to find out is if these 44 mag pouches are original. have a look at my photobucket images bellow. fkx & P38 are the only markings on the used holster.

Mp 44 pouches and P38 pouch are fake!

Hello Alex,
I have no experience with MP44 accessories. I do collect P.38's and holsters. The pictures you provided are not detailed enough for me to form an opinion, but I do have two original examples of the holsters in question for comparison. The fkx looks pretty good.The police style holster could go either way, but looks crushed . Both my holsters are cerca 1944. Hope this helps mofo

IMO only the fkx-holster is original, all other items shown here, are fakes.

you guys are awesome. what do you think the date probably is on the good one? there isn't any date on it. just the maker mark and a p38 stamp. i'm looking for a 1945 p38 holster. the only ones i've seen for sale were fakes. so with that in mind i was kinda hopen the original holster might be a 45

IMO, the RB numbered holster that Jason showed is original. I have a couple of them in my collection and, to me, there is no question.

About the only 1945 holsters that you can readily find these days are the gxy 1945 examples that were Russian captured. A number of dealers have had those in the past but they are growing scarce. They were extremely rare until the Russian captures were brought in.

The RB numbered holster that Jason showed could be 1945 production but, without a date, it's impossible to tell for sure. It could be late 1944 also.

Jason's fkx has a "4" below the maker mark. That stands for 1944.
