      I'm betting it's a k-98 muzzle cover...its rubber right??

      A collector had a similar one for sale...but that does not mean its real

        they have no markings and seem to be made of some kind of plastic (feels hard now by being in the soil 65 yrs)
        They fitt very loose on a 98K

        Could they be used for a MG34/42 ???

          The cover for the 34 is not as deep as these

            the Mp-44 had covers as well they were supposed to be larger than the K-98 ones
