Hello Just picked these up. The top one is marked 1918 the bottom one is marked Hess ??????????? leather CO. I guess these would be Calvary related. THanks for any information. Kirby

The date might be 1940 instead of 1918. The strap was moved on the one and is covering part of the marking.
