K98 action cover

Picked this up locally at a garage sale. Haven't seen one in a while. What do you guys think it's worth today?
It's in very good condition. I couldn't find any date on it, but it is waffenampt. Looks like "eagle/WaA130".

The overall construction is not what you would expect and the leather looks artificially aged. Matt maybe you could make higher resolution pictures.

I agree. It certainly looks odd. I would like to see some close ups of the leather pieces and studs.

total construction not correct. looks like a British made reproduction. put it on a k98 & you'll see how ill fitting this one is ,compared to an original.
originals seem to be very hard to find ,even though they were issue at least 1942,43, 1944. maybe no one liked using them.
