    P08 magazine

    Hi,

    I know it is a long shot, but if I dont ask, I dont get answers. Does someone have a P08 magazine with serialno. 6864 ?

    What is the year and maker of the P08?

      At one time someone had a magazine matching service where people sent the serial number and suffix of their magazines in to him and if you found a match he would put you in touch with the magazine owner.
      If the magazine is not the correct letter suffix and acceptance mark also, you aren't much better off as it still doesn't match.

            It is an S/42 from 1938. Suffix " i ". Hope someone might be able to help. Thanks.

              The name of the person that had the list of Luger magazines was Don Hallock, but I can't help you much more than that.

                Don Hallock's email address was drh@oz.net but that was in 2003 when i purchased a listing from him......

                At the time he also wanted collectors to send details of their mags for future lists.

                Don't know if he is still doing this, i imagine it must be quite time consuming......
