    Japanese contract 98K

I was wondering if any of the members here have one of the 98k's made for the Japanese government, and if so would you be able to post some picks.
I only recently read about these, and imagine they must be pretty rare with a premium price. Any info appreciated,
    Regards,
    Johnnie

According to an in depth study done by Richard Law, prior to his death, there is no way to identify contract Mausers produced for the Japanese.I have in my hands a copy of his work.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Yes it is a shame that there is not even a serial number range to check. Undoubtedly, most of these ended up being used in China, were then used by Chi-Com forces in the Korean War, and at least some brought back by returning G.I.'s.
        Truely a fantasy gun,
