7.92x57mm ammo i need help with this one guys !

Ok hear i go so far i have collected a hand full of testing ammo to find out what works best in my German k98 Bnz 41 now i have been reading about bullets loaded to " j " or i " ? and some loaded to " JS " i have read that the turkish ammo is loaded to the 323 diamaiter will this turkish amm0 work in my k98 ? i also read that the k98 can handle loads up to 58,000 camber pressure.

Right now im working with the romanian 150gr steel core bullet ?
right now i also have some of the famous set back primers yugo ammo..
I also do have some authentic german ww2 1939 ammo none SMK ... damn.. lol

so can i use the turkish stuff yes or no ?
can i do custom loads if so what do yall use ? powder and bullet type ? primer type ?

P.s. i Use to own a Turkish Mauser and i did use the turkish ammo the ones with the silverl ooking bullet and it had alot more kick that my k98 ..

The bullet size (.323) is correct for the K98K. I have fired a good bit of the Turkish ammo out of 98ks and there is no problem in terms of bullet size.

The loads that I fired thru the crono ranged between about 2900 and 3200+ FPS...all of this was late 40s dated headstamps from the same lot...so that is pretty inconsistent loading and also very hot when compared to most 7.92 velocities nearer 2300 to 2500 FPS!

Accuracy suffers greatly at 100 yds with the bullet very low....maybe 12 to 20 inches at that range!

It is also very dirty (fouling) and pretty hard to clean out of the bore.

I have no interest in buying or firing any more of it....it is for me pretty much a waste of time.

Friend of mine shoots Prvi Partizan made ammunition on wartime Mauser and it works just fine, accuracy is also good.

They work much better than wartime bullet/casing reloads.
