SS Marked Luftwaffe Grey Holster

Hello,

Any idea what this is or for? Its Luftwaffe gray, flash drowned the color out. The back side has S.S. stamped in it.

Looks like a brown PPk holster that's been dyed black, and well worn. I've never seen or heard of any grey holsters before?
Holsters were either brown or black, or made brown, and then dyed black as this one is.


Can you take a clearer photo of the markings? Where are they located?

Seems to be an Italian mfg. grey/green holster...BILL

Is it one of those Italian holsters in PP size made of Grey or Greenish-Grey leather. Don't know the animal. But the unfinished side of the leather had a rougher texture than leather produced in Germany. I would be skeptical of any SS markings.

Bill, You may be right, I forgot about the Italian holsters for the Model 1934/35. Those are usually more green though. This doesn't look like one to me, but I could be wrong of course.

Hi Guys, sorry for the late response, I completely forgot about this post. It is grey, the flash killed the color in the photos. The S.S. mark has been there forever, and was purchased out of a home. Let me post better shots tonight!
