Nowadays Beretta 38A submachineguns are not really rare, but have you ever seen a Beretta 38A in origin condition with the "crown RE"-proof from the Italian army? Most of the Berettas which are available today are from the Romanian contract.
I´ve got such a smg with the rare Italian army proof, so this gun was first used by Italian forces and thereafter from the Germans as much other guns like the Carcano rifles. It is in origin condition, but it is deactivated regarding to Austrian law.
