This is an all-original BYF 44. Nice bore as well. I have been told these are earlier Walther grips. All matching parts -- not mag. Some bonehead scratched it a bit.
You will not make a good deal with a dealer because he has to make a profit also.
Sell them your self and you should make out much better. The best thing in the bunch for me is the PPK as i would say $1200+. It is considered a SS pistol.
That's it, guys! Feel free to email as well to: mike@mheuer.com
Any advice on pricing appreciated. Not accepting any offers on these now -- they are to go to Nashville first as that was promised. But I will be home on Sunday.

The US&S is a scarce 1911A1, but all collector value has been ruined by the heavy handed buffing and reblue. It has been reduced to a shooter, just like you said. Considering that the barrel is also bad, I would think somewhere in the $550/600 range to someone that didn't want to pay the price for an original US&S.

I would not characterize the bore as "bad" but not minty clean. Thanks for this excellent advice.

I believe the CMP is selling GI M1 Carbines between $475 and $575. Yours appears to have an aftermarket stock set which will reduce value somewhat to a collector.
Most of the 629 S&W's are priced in the $650 to $850 range, but demand is low and they are slow sellers. My local shop kept an 8 3/8 for a while before selling it for $550.
If you sell them yourself, the good stuff will sell easy, and you will be stuck with the other for a while. If you can get an acceptable price, you are better off selling all at one time.
