I have a springfield armory 1903 rifle the serial number is over 1 million and the barrel is dated 9-17 , it is in very good condition about 90% of the finish remains and has a nice patina to it, i would like to know an approximate value for it.

Too many variables there to give you a price. You didn't say how far over 1 million the serial number is, but serial number 1000000 was not achieved until 1919, so the barrel is not original to the receiver. Would have to know the type of stock and stock markings also. Pictures would really help also.
