WWII firearm ID needed

The story handed down is this pistol was taken from a captured German. It does not appear to be military contract but can anybody ID this piece.

It is carrying Belgian proof marks, so I think that it is a Belgian product

it's a belgian bulldog revolver! I have heard a similiar story once about a bulldog being captured from a german oficer, so it might be true... we will never know.
