    French Holster Help?

I just recently picked up this French Model 1892 in its original (WWII picked up) holster. Can anyone tell me if this holster is original to the revolver or if it is something that was put together later? Thanks for any help you can offer!

there are 2 patterns, one so called "ham holster" the oldest (copied from the 1873 model) , and the later model is this one.
seems to be OK, with the 3 pouches for the cartridge
          Nice pistol

I like it. Nice original "late version".
The 1892 revolver is also in very nice shape.
            Congratulations.

              Thanks

Thanks for your responses guys! When you say late/later version, are we talking made for WWII, WWI or earlier still?

              Thanks again,
              Robert

"ham holster" is a translation from the french as the aspect of this holster is similar to a full pig ham.
Correct term in english is clamshell holster
