MP-40 Sling good or bad?

Is this MP-40 sling good or bad?

MP40 sling

Looks a wrong-un to me.
No cross-hatch pattern on leather, if any stamp should be "MP34 u. 40" and the end of the sling normally ends in a curved point.
Any other opinions?

I don't like anything but the buckle. But there are no detailed pictures of this part so I guess it is definitely post-war.
