    Odd request of a buddy regarding a 91/30 sniper

    My friend owned a gorgeous Hungarian 91/30 sniper that was a vietnam bringback. He sold it 20 years ago. And recently he found the original paperwork that went with the rifle ( war trophy docs ).
    He would like to either find that rifle and buy it back or sell these documents to the owner. Rifle was an 02 1952 dated specimen , serial Number # BC1476. If you can prove you have it by giving him the scope serial he would be more than happy to work with you. So do let me know if this bird is still out there and I'll put you in touch with him.

      I would too , but my friend would likely keep it if it was offered to him 'again'. All in all he would just like to reunite the rifle and the papers. Hell maybe the current owner if ever found would part with it - who knows as I have not heard a peep on it.

        Would suggest posting in the Sniper forum on Gunboards.com. Lots of sniper collectors there.
