question about Spanish Ruby 7.65 pistol with mauser holster

I saw this gone today. I think it is Spanish Ruby it came from the vet's grandson. It came with mauser 7.65 holster which is maker marked and eagle stamped. This gun comes with 2 mags. This one does not have any normal markings like the other Ruby's I saw. Only thing on it is the P.P. and No. 218.
Pictures are bad because I took it with cell phone. Any help would be appreciated.

    thank you for looking.

    regards Rajko

I am thinking about buying the gun, so I was wondering if it is postwar? And how much it is worth?
              Thank you

I think that a knock off of a Ruby.. Even if if it was a real French contract gun it would only be worth $200-$300

Who was making the knock off of a Ruby? And what the PP means on the side?

They were made about the same time by subcontractors to help fill orders, not well made at all.

The self-loading Ruby pistol was used mostly as a a French WWI sidearm, that adopted this kind of handgun as Pistolet Automatique de 7 millim.65 genre "Ruby". The Ruby-type pistols were mostly modified copies of the FN Browning Model 1903 and was produced by over 50 Spanish companies, but primarily by the Spanish Gabilondo y Urresti firm (the official "Gabilondo Ruby").

Check this fine article about these pistols: http://www.shootingtimes.com/handgun_reviews/ST_spanishruby_200907/#cont

Now, regarding, your pistol: I would say that it is a pre-1945 production pistol for sure. Most of the manufactures of Ruby pistols ceased their operation during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). In fact, at the end of that conflict only a hendful companies were active in gun business: Star, Astra and Llama, if I remember correctly. And they were all producing other types of guns...

However, many of such pistols were still in use when the nazis defeated France in WWII and were pressed into service with second line and security/police troops. So, this pistol might be a bringback gun.

Unfortunately, I can not help you with the markings. But I agree with the above posts, regarding its price range...

Thank you for your help, so about the holster it is a stamp Mauser 7.65 and it is Nazi eagle marked and has a maker stamped Berlin something and dated 1940. What is a value of that holster?
So is the price of $250 to much for this rig?

I think it is a fair price for the whole rig.
This kind of holster was used for a lot of .32 Auto pistols...
