That's what I think as well: Norinco Type 54. I saw one at the gun store (with a safety catch) for $150...

At least this one wasn't modified to include the safety catch.
It would display nice in a Vietnam related collection.

I agree. It is Type 54. I Chinese copy of Russian Tokarev TT-33

And nicely original without the silly safety lever installed. All newly-imported (since the 1990s) TT33/T54 types must have a new safety installed in order to be imported.
