    k98 mauser code help please

Hey there, I have searched on the sites with codes for k98 mausers but there are still a couple I can't figure out on my rifle. I'm thinking they may be codes other than German on my k98. The first one is fxc in small letters just before the CK. The front band also appears to have a cursive "s" with something over it. It has been reblued over top of this marking as well as the others. Is that a Czech marking? It does have import markings on it. I would really appreciate any help with understanding these codes. haven't had luck with google.
    Thanks guys,
    Geoff

The "s" stamp on the band is probably from a WW1 rifle, does it look like a crown over the "s", and where is the FXC stamp located?

The fxc, I am pretty sure it is fxc, is in between the reciever and the adjustable rear sight. it reads "fxc CK"-just like that I want to try and see a picture of ww1 rifle markings. I guess it could have a crown over it. hard to tell with the covering on the metal parts. Thanks for your help guys.
