    Gewehr 41 Pictures

    Hello collecting colleagues,

I thought I'd share the following two pictures with you all, as I thought you might like these. G-41 in use by a Jäger troop...

    Best Regards,
    Vincent S.

First one was taken during wintertime. The G-41 can be seen in the front.

Second one from the same grouping. This time, the soldier on the left is holding the G-41.

Cool pictures and thanks for posting. Some of the same guys in both photos? I think it is the same fellow in both photos with the G41 . I also noticed the fellow with the larger nose I think in both.

Great fotos - so far I have only seen 1 showing the G41 in use.

Also like the camo-cap seen in the 1st foto, by the sitting soldier with binos.

            Hi,

Glad you like them and I could share these with you. Indeed, the camo cap is an interesting feature, which goes to show that field-made examples were popular. Although it is hard to determine whether an item is an original 'field-made' example - the term is over-used in my opinion -, I still feel like they have great historical value. Not everything has to be textbook, or at least not for me...

            Best,
            Vincent
