O/T? Followed me home from the Gun Show

I guess if you use your imagination, this "rig" could have been used in the Wehrmacht. Anyhow, I just love it. This one had languished in my good friend's safe for over 20 years. I had only seen it once and had a running snot-slinging fit over it. This weekend he brought it to the show and told me that he had something under the table that he thought I would like and could have it if I wanted. Boy, did I ever!!!

Very nice! Could you post a picture of that Red9 out of the holster. Actually, I think a lot of them were Wehrmacht issue, at least I understand to field police and SS.

As a Broomhandle lover, I just freaked out!

Nice piece. Please, post pictures of your "Red Nine"! Many C96 saw service during the WWII (mainly with second line troops or were used for guard duties). I had one that also took part in both wars, in the First with the Austrian Air Corps. I friend of mine bought it directly from the GI who captured it. Then, just like you, I could put my hand on it . I can post pictures of this one later.

But now let´s enjoyed YOUR Red nine.

I'll try to get some more photos. I've already taken a bunch, but am having difficulty getting them small enough that they will post to this forum. The one you see had to be reduced by a friend before it fit the dimensions rqd. Be patient, I'm working on it.
