Pricing my paratrooper carbine

My good friend and gun show partner is a collector of carbines and He passes up a lot of the paratrooper type carbines. Yours seems to be a good example with none of the tell tale flaws of the fakes but it is so hard to tell. It looks to be in awfully good condition and that scares a lot of people. If it is all good and appropriate for the style it is supposed to be I have seen them go for $2500 - $3200. But that is a very big if. I do not mean to downgrade your rifle , I just do not know enough to tell . I am just trying to answer your request for a price guide.
May I ask the origins of your rifle?

Hi Frank
Frank thanks for the info...your info is right in line with what I have been thinking
The gun was purchased from a private individual, by my brother 25 years ago. he collected carbines at the time and coveted a paratrooper. It is in the cofiguration he bought it in. Wish i knew more before that..thanks again for your help...Chris
