I just picked up a stunning, near mint, all matching, 1943, MG34 from a friend of mine, I posted a photo of the markings a couple of years ago and got some info at that time. What I'm looking for is someone with the Folke Myrvang book on the MG34 that can scan the info for me. The MG is one of the 1000 that was sent to Portugal.
When I first looked at it a couple of years ago the bolt appeared to be stuck in the barrel, however having removed the butt and return spring a sharp jolt on the cocking lever and everything is working as it should.
