I hope somebody can help me with this. I need some info about the issuing of the Stg 44. Does anybody know if some of them were issued to the 1. Cossack Cavalry Division or any other cossack unit? I know that some cavalry units received Stg44 very early (e.g. Boeselagers unit). Never saw a picture of a cossack having one, though.
