Polish Radon (?) holster with embossed swastika

Looks like some kind of "trench art". Could have been added wartime by some nazi loving soldier, or it could have been done post war by some collector "enhancement", or by a GI? Really impossible to tell who or when it was done?

IMO it looks like it was added to sell an otherwise beat-up and semi worthless holster.Dealers seem to thrive on sweetening things up.

I agree that it was informally added and too me it looks like it may have been burned into the leather....maybe you can tell for sure.

I do think that it has been there forever and was done either by the German or the GI.

The way its laid out leans me towards the Indian Good Luck Swaztica...The Nazi pieces USUALLY are Canted...SO US is my Vote.

The leaning of the swastica has NO bearing on it's use or origin. The Germans used them leaning, canted, round, pinwheeled etc.
Wht determines a good luck swastica is direction. The Nazi swas faces to the right. The good luck swas to the left, backwards from the Nazi.
